Ex-employee Kills Two in Baton Rouge Because, He Couldn't Get His Unemployment

Richard Matthew murdered 2 people over unemployment benefits.

I'm starting to feel like Chicken Little! The sky is falling! The sky is falling! People are going crackhead crazy, folks! And I'm not kidding! Take this dude for example....

On December 23, 2009, 53-year-old Richard Matthews, of Slaughter (OMG THE IRONY!), Louisiana , parked his dusty looking ass in front of Grady Crawford Construction Co. just shy of 2 p.m. Then he calmly walked into the building, and shot 2 clerical employees to death. Among the dead are Dianna Tullier, 44, and Cheryl D. Boykin, 55. The women were targeted because Matthews believed they were responsible for blocking his unemployment benefits. Matthews also shot a 3rd victim who was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. He tried to shot a 4th person, but missed.

Matthews' rampage ended when four employees wrestled him to the ground. One of the guys who tackled Matthews, actually had to stick his finger in between the gunman's finger and the trigger, to keep the unemployed kook from popping off more shots!
